Prince of Nature
Nature is something that is to be preseved and loved. Every tree has a purpose, it gives us wood to build our homes, it gives us the ability to breathe and it cleans the world around it. All life around us has been given a home thanks to nature, and its hard to imagine that the creator of nature, and the creator of all were not one in the same person.
Current Prince
The current prince of nature is known as Zera, the 'allfather' as he was called among the populace of plant folk that would often surround him. Zera was a kind and gentle soul who created the animal-human hybrid known as the Shirian (from beasts). He is a core figure in the Si'vari civilisation as well as the one to create the 'reborn'.
His home seems to be a castle built inside a massive tree, though the people who are said to live in his realm have long since adapted some level of comfort its always in true harmony. Some believe this entity to be a fey, much like the plant folk who came before the princes did, and that has is the one who has sown the seeds of the Elder Woods.
Guardians of the Woods
Unlike other princes the Prince of Nature has 4 Lords, one for each season. And in addition to that they elect mortal guardians known as the 'Uniguard' (fitting as its made up out of unicorn folk) which do their best to protect the natural sites across the worlds. Shrines often created by nature spirits, dryads, fey, plant, or beast folk.
Religion
Many follow the religion of the Prince of Nature, its a mostly unorganised type of faith that is often occupied by plant folk, beast folk, rangers and druids. Some say that this faith was created as a branch-off of druidism, showing that the prince of nature may once have been a druid themselves, though such was never confirmed in any scriptures. Despite its mostly unorganised nature it still has rather uniform beliefs, its tenants being as such:
- Asceticism
- Materialistic pursuits blind us to the divine truth. Only by devoting ourselves to live simple lives without luxury can we achieve spiritual enlightenment.
- Sanctity of Nature
- The natural world is the creation of the divine, and we are merely guests in it. We must respect and honor every tree, every animal, and even the ground itself.
It is something to consider that many of the Si'vari, once fully faithful to this religion's tenants has since moved off of their Asceticism instead embracing that they can live in some form of luxery, however, this luxery comes in fey form, where it is created purely out of natural products without any synthetic material involved.
Culture
Culturally speaking the Prince of Nature's values are really only upheld within societies that live within nature. Those who are its sheer opposites, such as those people who live in the Cities of Steel often have its religion and cultures banned.
